North American and International Study Tours

Each AALP Class includes two study tours as part of the curriculum – one in North America, and one involving international travel. These study tours give participants the opportunity to gain an even broader perspective and understanding of regional/national/ international issues and their interrelationships. Learning about another region or country’s culture, economy, businesses and government policies is a key theme of these tours. As leaders find themselves trying to cope with global competition, it is not surprising that this aspect of the training is rated as extremely important (Ipsos Reid Study, 2007).
